Abstract

The study aims to investigate the influence of optimal for conventional agriculture and high sowing rates on grain yield of winter common wheat grown in organic farming system. For the purposes of the study during 2009-2011, is displayed accurate field experience in certified organic farming аrеа of the Institute of Agriculture — Karnobat. Experimentation is with winter common wheat, variety Enola. The four sowing rates were tested. The basic biometric parameters are tacked determining the structure of the crop and grain yield. It was found that the cultivation of wheat in organic farming systems should be performed with a conventional procedure recommended sowing rate of 550 hp/m2. Overstating е conventional sowing rate о!f 25%, 50% аnd 75% increase the number of productive brothers/m2 and the height оf the plants, but decreased productive tillering capacity of а plant and the number of grains per spike Therefore, after such rules sowing wheat seed is not formed with higher productive potential.
