Abstract

The present study aims to study the influence of complex mineral fertilizers and biostimulants on the growth, development and structural elements of soybean yield (Glycine max (L.) Merrill). The experiments were conducted in the period 2021–2023 in the experimental field of the Experimental Station for Soybeans and Cereals - Pavlikeni, under non-irrigated conditions, with the medium-early variety "Richy". The effect of the mineral fertilizers N₄P₂K₁-Start and NH₄NO₃ was studied, as well as the liquid foliar and organic fertilizers and biostimulants "Manni-Plex B-Moly", "Ekosist-Arbanasi" and "Carbo-Active", applied soil, foliar and combined according to different technological schemes. Changes in the main structural elements determining the yield were monitored - stem height, number of branches, number of beans, number of seeds, seed weight and mass of 1000 seeds (average for one plant). The summarized three-year results show that the foliar and combined application of NPK + "Manni-Plex B-Moly", NPK + "Ekosist-Arbanasi", as well as the individual foliar treatment with "Manni-Plex B-Moly" and "Ekosist-Arbanasi" lead to the formation of the largest number of branches. The largest number of beans was recorded with the combined application of NPK + "Ekosist-Arbanasi" and NH₄NO₃ + "Manni-Plex B-Moly". According to the indicators "number of seeds" and "seed weight", the highest values were obtained after foliar treatment with "Ekosist-Arbanasi", while the highest mass of 1000 seeds was established with the combined application of NPK + "Manni-Plex B-Moly". The results confirm the effectiveness of the joint use of mineral fertilizers and biostimulants for increasing soybean productivity in conditions of non-irrigated agriculture.
