Efficacy and selectivity of foliar herbicides in a young lavender

The study was carried in the period 2021-2022 at the experimental field of the Institute for roses and aromatic plants - Kazanlak in a young lavender plantation (Lavandula angustifolia Mill.) variety Yubileina. The study was carried out on the herbicidal efficacy and selectivity of the herbicide combinations Cliofar 600 SL (600 g/l clopyralid) + Centurion super (120 g/l clethodim), Basagran 480 SL (480 g/l bentazon) + Fusilade Forte 150 EC (150 g/l fluazifop-p-butyl) and Cliofar 600 SL (600 g/l clopyralid) + Fusilade Forte 150 EC (150 g/l fluazifop-p-butyl) applied in vegetation of the culture. High biological efficacy 90-96% of the herbicide combinations has been reported against annual monocotyledon and dycotyledon weeds. The presence of Cliofar 600 SL in the herbicide mixtures also reduces the density of Cirsium arvense L. and Sonchus oleraceus L. The tested herbicides show high selectivity towards lavender. The treated variants are distinguished by higher yields than the control
