Study on the Efficiency of Dazitol and Undecylenic Acid Salts to Economic and Important Diseases of Pepper
Keywords:
Capsicum annuum subsp. microcarpum var. shipka; pepper; Phytophthora capsici; Verticillium dahliaeAbstract
Study on the efficiency of Dazitol and Undecylenic Acid Salts (UAS) has been carried out under laboratory and greenhouse conditions. In laboratory conditions towards Verticillium dahliae and Phytophthora capsici. The biofungicide Dazitol applied at rate 0.4% – 0.6% was shown 88% and 100% technical efficiency (TE) with respect to V. dahlie and Ph. capsici. The UAS applied at rates 0.05% and 0.1% – 78% and 100% TE, with respect to the same pathogens. In greenhouse conditions, the TE of Dazitol was 87% towards V. dahliae and 94% to Ph. capsici. The TE from UAS was 92% to Ph. capsici and 78% – V. dahliae respectively. The products were not phototoxic to the pepper plants.
