Effectiveness and Selectivity of Herbicides during Fodder Beet Vegetation

The problem with the control of the broad-leaved weeds in fodder beet has agro-technical and economical significance. In connection with this during 2010 – 2011 on the experimental field of Agricultural Institute – Shumen were tested the herbicides for broad-leaved weeds Betagan 160 CK, Betagan Extra 400 CK and Beetup Trio. The selectivity of the herbicides is counted by the EWRS scale. It was established that Betagan 160 CK oppresses the separate weed species in the strongest degree. The application of Beeetup Trio brings to increase of the yield, with a weaker repressive effect, which is a reason to recommend it as a basic mean of weed control during fodder beet vegetation.
