Abstract

Variation in quantitative traits in stevia genotypes was studied after individual selection. A relatively high coefficient of variation has been established for number of main stems (42.56%), number of branches (46.62%), weight of fresh leaves (40.20%) and weight of dry leaves (37.59%). Lower variability has been found for height of main stems (17.38%) and height of branches (23.51%).
